Short CV: Prof. Javad Zarbakhsh
Javad Zarbakhsh, is Professor at the Department of Engineering and IT, and Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, in Villach, Austria. He also currently serves as Professor of Simulation and Computational Engineering and holds lectures for study programs Mechanical Engineering, Systems Design, Biomimetics and Energy Systems, and Business Engineering.
He is the Austrian Delegate and Management Committee Member in several COST/EU Actions in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as well as Materials, Physical and Nanosciences (MPN).
He has received his PhD from Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria, in the field of Computational Engineering and Photonics. He has a long record of working as consultant and researcher with Industries including Semiconductor, Automotive, Microelectronics and Photonics.
His research interests includes multidisciplinary research and development in various fields of Science and Engineering and IT, including Computational Engineering, Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing, Innovation Management, Future and Emerging Technologies.
