Matlab – CAD Interfacing

 

 

Matlab is an efficient tool for visualization, analysis and generation of custom CAD Models. It can also be nicely used for research and development. 3D Data file formats such as STL and WRL can be nicely imported, edited, visualized and exported in Matlab.

 

 

Visualization, Analysis and Synthesis of 3D CAD Models in Matlab

Research and Engineering question in this project is related to development of Matlab project for special visualization of STL files, Analysis of 3D Models for the purpose of print-ability, structural stability. and waer tightness.

Synthesis and creation of new 3D Models, based on available data files, other 3D models or Mathematical functions

 

 

 

Validation and Verification:

The Numerical analyses and simulation can be verified with theoretical formula and can be validated with experimental models or 3D printed parts.
